The Beli Iskar eco-trail is located 5.2 km. from the village of Madzare, starting from the end of the village of Beli Iskar. Its length is 7 km and it takes about 3 hours to complete. It is recommended to hike during the warmer time of the year from June to October. The route of the trail winds along the upper reaches of the Beli Iskar River. Eight large and five smaller bridges cross the river. The landscapes vary from valleys with narrow ravines, through riverside relief, interesting rock formations and coniferous forests. The trailhead is at an elevation of 1,215 metres, and its highest point, where a viewing terrace has been constructed, is at 1,528 metres. A great place to practice mountain tourism and recharging in nature.
